Named for a cannon washed ashore in 1846, The Cannon Beach Area extends along a 7-mile strand,
pocketed between Tillamook Head to the north and Arch Cape to the south, the Cannon Beach Area is enjoyed for Surf Fishing, Swimming, and Clamming.
